Decisive role in what sense? It seems to translate to a better opinion of herself (e.g. it increases if you pick to spend time with Felicia alone instead of agreeing to invite Mina) but that can affect things in many ways, and not all of them positive -- a more self-assured Felicia might even find it harder to get an arrangement she's actually happy with, because she'd be less willing to compromise.

Oh, yes, and I forgot that the next update will be focused on Rosalind. At first I liked Veronica, then Felicia, but then I saw Rosalind and I think she deserves to win. Because Veronica is dumb and Felicia is rich enough.

Yay, new numbers!
There is a slight discrepancy, though: I make it 299 new static images in the 20 days between the most recent dev diaries: 942 reported on June 9, and 1241 reported yesterday. This only makes a small difference in the grand scheme of things, however, as TD & GIL have been averaging around 104.5* static images, 1.4 animations and 2114 words per week over that time period. Overall, they are averaging ~101 statics, 2.0 animations and 1875 words per week since work on Chapter 4 Update 5 began. Here are the charts for Week 12:

There's also the preview image, which suggests we're finally getting to Kathleen's "gift" for people on that path. Since the MC still has the syringe I assume he didn't use it during the Club business. Could that mean the plan is to use it on Rose, or is he just contemplating something that will happen on Friday? Lots to ponder; it should definitely be an interesting update.

You can see almost every scene in 1 playtrough and interact with every girl and experience like 90% of all the content all girls have to offer, so don't worry too much about it.
(the few scenes you might not get is because you can't do "everything" in 1 run, but if you savescum a bit you should get pretty much every scene no problem)

I guess it'll depend on how far you're willing to stretch the definition -- one of ROs is in active marriage (i.e. with the husband who is still around), another has a very sexually active boyfriend at the start of the game, two ROs can have sex while MC chooses to watch from
For people who aren't overly sensitive about the subject the answer would probably be no, not really.

It's not about advertising that you've done something with the Carnations; it's that Kathleen or any patron with decent access to information resources could conceivably find things out. While it's POSSIBLE you could get away with/make job-related excuses for something, it would be a risk if patrons decide you rigged the game: could get explosive.
The problem is more prevelent if they caught you outright FVCKING one of the Carnations without Kathleen's explicit order, and that Carnation then does very well onstage.
I don't think it's "telling" what happened with Rose's affection (unless Rose gets off on being abused, in which case she would not have got much of that from me), although it's interesting that you went there, immediately.
I was nice to her, and *nice* to her, and NICE to her, and NICE TO HER, and FVCKING NICE TO HER FFS, and her affection stayed zero until I was nice to her in the p0rn video she had to make, when it suddenly jumped 2 points. WTF.
Unless she was looking to be abused by the MC idk what the problem was. I haven't done the walk through check so if she's masochistic that could explain the no-affection. Otherwise, idk . Maybe my game glitched.
The only one I could see any negative effect on affection was Veronica. Because she was so often verbally abusive to the MC, and tried to alpha dom him, I wasn't feelin' dat, so by the end of week 2, I only had 16 affection with her and that wasn't enough for me to give her comforting words when she got completely graped/destroyed in Kathy's petty and vindictive spider/strapon climax revenge-fest. I felt bad about not being able to comfort her after, because by that time she'd actually been acting less like a prick and became a more sympathetic character.
Actually, I WAS constantly killing my affection with KATHLEEN, because she's just such a sadistic psychopathic b1tch, and anything you do nice for the Carnations brings her down. I specifically did a couple of borderline things (like actually played w/"wrapped birthday gift" Harper instead of letting her down out of the straps) just to make sure MC didn't bottom out K's affection and maybe get a bad end game over (I don't know if that is a thing; haven't really poured through the walkthrough).
Rosalind's affection for MC starts at 8. The only way for it to get to 0 is to take advantage of her at the start of the game (-10 relationship drop) and then not apologize to her afterwards. (this set of decisions effectively cuts off her route, because she won't want to seek out MC afterwards) So no, you were not *nice* to her by any stretch. That's why i "went there immediately".

Last I checked, being professional and courteous was not something which is a sign of low character, tho I suppose people with heavily subjective biases might not understand that concept.

The action in question which drops Rosalind's affection (choosing to have sex with her when you first meet her at the club and she informs you she was told to come here and have sex with one Mr.Erwin who would determine if she could join the club) is explicitly recognized by MC as taking advantage of her. There's nothing subjective, professional or courteous about it -- you are not club employee at this point, and, as MC notes, Chuck will accept MC's recommendation no matter how you choose to go about it.
