VN - Ren'Py - Shut Up and Dance [Ep.1-9 Ch.2 v1.2 SE Steam] [Boring Games]

The animations are amazing and I like the branching paths. I cant wait for the other chapters to get their touch ups!

Pros:
Renders are beautiful
Story is well written and the English is great (probably native)
The animations in chapters 1 and 2 are top notch.
Chapters 3-7 are still really good and i believe they are being retouched to match the quality in 1 and 2
No grind and branching paths for replay-ability

Cons
This is tough because honestly I loved it but if there was anything I would change is would be to make some of the boobs smaller. Not like small but just not as massive. I know that some people are really into that and honestly its a pretty minor complaint.

It's got some music, sound effects, good UI, etc etc but what really makes this a hit are the animations and the scenes. Mind blowing stuff.

When I first played this game two years ago I would have rated it 5 stars. Then, as updates came, I would have lowered it to 4 stars as the plot started to get stale. I stopped playing for a while and just came back to it...

The later chapters don't have a conclusion so it seems strange seeing new versions of the first chapters. The the last few updates almost only include new renders of previous chapters. The original renders were very good to begin with. The worst part is that the game has been losing content as part of the updates. The later chapters make less sense without the removed content.

Two years ago this was a 5 star game that looked like it could be classic. It is currently a 2 star game split between the remade first chapters and the older chapters that seem out of place.

This game has some top notch renders but very stale and boring sex scenes that you cant skip with most characters, you have choice and its more like a kinetic novel then anything else and the plot seems decent at first glance but personally I feel the forced content and sex scenes take away from what could be a better tailored experience. (Not everybody has mommy issues, want to bone their sister etc) So being able to exclude certain aspects would be a big +.
The other thing that stood out like a sore thumb in the eyesocket was the ridiclous dialogue.
The game could easily have been 5 stars if one had the option to pick and chose some content and if the interactions was somewhat realistic, I get that the whole medicine/powers might not be up that alley, but I feel it was just way over the top.

Something I discovered after going abit further into the game, it doesnt get better as you progress only worse and theres forced sharing, then again everything is forced in thos game amd choices are there to make you think you have any control.
The story progression is so bad that I'll stop here, I dont see the bad writing ever being redeemed.

Let me say it right away it is a top game! Very fine dialogs with a slowly increasing tension and deeper relationships without becoming ridiculous. The graphic is in the upgraded part A+ in the older style I would give it a B+. The plot itself is unusual but the MC does have a lot of choices and can change many things. From my side 5 of 5 stars!

This is one of those games that I await every new version with impatience. The new renders are amazing, the mom and sis characters particularly, the story is engaging, spot-on on fetishes for me at the moment, no horrendous bugs. In general an ejoyable game. 5/5

The scenes that dev has recreated are just marvelous. This is top tier work – love the renders, the script is also great. Frankly, I wish there was more mind control actually seen in the story, but the direction Megan goes in after her mind control makes up for it.

Can't recommend enough that you try out the Megan romance path first, and then go back and give the mind-control route a go. It'll show you just how much influence you have had.

5 stars just because the dev actually listens to his community and even reads his own reviews. And by this I mean that he/she tries to improve with every update and even upgrades early chapters to catch up with the current quality in the game. Nice work!

Not particularly original in narrative or characters but not bad either. Pretty standard incest VN with Mom, sis, aunt ect. Where the game stands out with it's renders and animations which are great. Dev also does a great job with the cameras, wouldn't be surprised if they have a background in photography because some of the framing of some of renders during the sex scenes is superb. Overall a really solid incest game with great visuals and really attractive models. Definitely worth a play

EP 7 Ch 1 Remake
This game is a gem. At first dev made it into pornish wish fullfillment fantasy. It wasn't anything special to say the least besides a good quality original models and average renders. It all changed later on with new and better models and renders. Now all characters look damn good and animations have improved as well. Dev tries to improve early content to make it up to par with the ones made later. There are still few chapters more to improve and polish.

This game does not have a deep plot but it has it to make it an enjoyable ride. Its more linear than many but choices do matter. Which is nice thing to see. Besides that its a good porn game. You won't need to wait much for some action to happen and when it happens you won't be dissapointed.

Generally its a good game.
Plot 3/5 - there is and choices do matter, there is some mystery around MC and his family but so far its just a side plot line which only is used as a basis for mindfucking other people around MC with his superpowers.
Renders 5/5 - rating is based on recent quality improvement of dev
Animations 4,5/5 - nice quality, choices of speed do not matter much in animations. Besides that there are many scenes which lack POV perspective which would add nice touch to them. It would be nice to add more variety to scenes and more fetishes. This way You, as a dev would made a masterpiece. Still I am pleased with your work.

Just finished this game and enjoyed it. As often happens in these games the figures are somewhat over-drawn (the mature ladies in the games would suffer back problems if their boobs were as big as they are shown) but this is nothing unusual for the genre. I think the developer has a problem - he has so may good ideas that he can't wait to introduce them while the earlier ideas remain incompletely developed - or perhaps I am criticising a game that simply hasn't been developed tot he point where the ideas can be pulled together?
I look forward to the next developments of this game

sometimes you can't trust the ratings system here, because this having such a low score is preposterous. i just finished remade episode 2, so i haven't finished it all yet, but to this point the game is very, very good.

- graphics are top notch. you can see some blemishes here and there but all in all very well done, with plenty of animations.

- the story. holy shit, it's a porn game people. it's not meant to be a top selling novel. the story is simple enough where you can follow seamlessly and doesn't detract from the reason you're here, to beat your meat. go read a book if you want an odyssey. it's incest porn done well. in a lot of these incest games they just slap a hot mom and sisters together and just make everyone bang, but what they don't get right is the taboo nature of it all. mind control is the vessel they use for this taboo and it works just fine in my book. it's kind of why a game like dreams of desire works for me, but midnight paradise feels hollow. this game gets it.

-ambiance is nice. music works very well with the scenes.

-the pacing so far is very fluid. doesn't throw a million characters at you and thins the cg pool, and you don't feel like the sex scenes come slowly at all. there's no blue balling, where games finish every character except the one people are here for (milf). you start hard and heavy on the mom character.

- it just feels old school good, with a modern look. i wish more people made their games like this. you don't need to make a game so damn ambitious sometimes. there's so many games with a million paths that either too ambitious so they get abandoned, or takes so long to develop that honestly the modern cgs/art have passed them by.

anyways, game is good, give it a try

edit: pleaseeeee stfu about this type of story being done before. just because it's been done before, doesn't mean it can't be done again. not everyone has played the same catalogue of games as another person. in 2000+ years of writing, how many "original" stories are there? did you eat breakfast this morning? don't eat it again, you've done it already. review games based on it's merits, not on your own dumb perception of originality.

While the game isn't bad its scenes are quite tame & samey in their content sadly the animations are great & the character models are impressive too. specifically the Megan one (More on that one in a sec) anyway the story is pretty cool but as I said the lack of options is boring, its all handjobs & BJ's with no real action to speak of.
