oh god, i got the 5th ending the first time and I cried my eyes out so hard.
Then I used the walkthrough to get the 1st ending (best ending) and I cried even harder.
This VN is a masterpiece in tugging the emotions.

Not that i have much preferences in loli setting and smoll tits, i appreciate them all equally....almost...i think i do hate when they unrealistically big, that much is annoying and ugly as fuck. Also....for those reference you have to at least ten time's have wet dream about Ava Adams.

That is a crass characterization. Just like you I was also turned off by the premise at first, but it is actually executed with quite well. The story is very good. In fact it's one of the best romance novels I've read. This isn't your average imouto nukige. You can check out my review here.

damn can hear the opening song in my head and already starting to tear up....and i haven even played it since i got it in 2002, this is the game that got me started with VN's and reading in general. Its funny for an"H" game it will always have a place in my heart <3<3<3 why do we do these things to ourselves... because the story is just that good!

Exactly that. How many H games can claim that they're played for their story?
I did skip the H scenes while playing/reading back then lol

Crescendo was similar. There was even a Kana movie scene there, voiced.

The only non D.O. game with similar impact was Aeka route in Yume Miru Kusuri. That one did hit hard too.

Has anyone installed this on windows 10? I've downloaded the remake and get this big scary error when trying to run the installer (Kana_Okaeri_setup.exe) that an app has been blocked for my protection, that an administrator has blocked me from running this app and it's serious enough that UAC is blocking print screen.


This doesn't seem worth ignoring huge warning signs.

Probably not digitally signed and therefor deemed unsafe.

Is that the one where windows 10 makes you click "more info" to get a button to "run anyway"? Windows 10 usually does that for unfamiliar files.

No, there's no obvious override. it's a red warning and it says an administrator has blocked me from running this, doesn't give a reason why and it prevents me from print screening. I'm on a administrator account for the record

I can't get the remake version to run. Same UAC message as the series of posts above mine.
The GOFILE link is broken, so I downloaded from both links for WORKUPLOAD. I also downloaded from UPLOADHAVEN.

From all of those sites, instead of downloading the pre-installed game folder (what I usually see from F95), they downloaded a zipped installer executable.
When I try to run the installer, a Windows 11 User Account Control message pops up with
"This app has been blocked for your protection".
Even if I add the executable to my AV exclusion list, it still does that. So I disabled my AV (Vipre), but still doesn't work. Then I added the installer file to Windows Security exclusions, but it pops up the same UAC message anyway.

I can download the Original Version from MEGA, which is also an installer executable, but it does open, then installs and runs the game without any problem.

Someone mentioned using a "locale emulator". How is that done?
I tried setting the Win 11 system language to Japanese, but that didn't fix it.

EDIT:
I found "Locale Emulator" on github, that did the trick!
