Admittedly, the 4 stars are tinted by my own personal preference. These kinds of games really resonate with me, and we got so very few of them that I feel compelled to nurse them as much as I can.

The game got some rough spots, as mentioned, the U.I. is one of them (terrible U.I. was one thing not to bring from Lab Rats 2 :D ), it's very grindy with default values and unbalanced. But it's an amazing framework to keep growing and turning into an great and complete experience for many kinds of players. Management, dating, romance, harem...

I can't imagine the difficulties of developing on the fly something for the masses. Everyone got their opinion on what the game should have, what kind of game it should be, and you end up being pulled on too many directions and spread too thin. If you focus your work on U.I. people will complain that new update has no new content or features. If you make new features, new people finding the game may drop it due to the U.I. If you aggressively include new features, very likely they are unbalanced.

I think the current state of the game is exactly that, but I don't think it's a bad state at all. The game is on a good spot to exponentially grown in content and quality, and the stars reflect that potential. Even more so with the inclusions of mods.

I hope I'm not wrong on that, but either way, I'm here for the ride.

The game puts you in a position of a strip club owner, where you can hire employees to earn money and upgrade your club to provide more services. However most of the early and mid game the club is nothing like the name suggests and does not provide any stripping nor anything sexual until a long chain series of laws has passed to allow that, which takes at least half a year game time and that is at least few hours of gameplay and that is only if you are good at convincing the government officials to pass those laws which depending on the rng and their starting personalities can be either very easy or extremely difficult to do.

With the standard set of images provided (I mean all the regular image sets without third party mods) the game will throw at you multitudes of ugly fat women and guys, with maybe one or two good looking girls if you are lucky. Basically the only way to have some limited fun with this game is to go through all scw folders and methodically check every image set, mercilessly deleting all the repulsive fatties. Some of them are really the kind you would like to unsee after seeing them. I don't know if the developer has some kind of obesity fetish but the average random roster of people in the game looks nothing like the image from the first post. Not to mention these are all AI generated images and the flaws of AI really show on their naked versions, so even the good looking girls can be a disappointment after seeing them nude.

Speaking of nudity, the game makes you believe you will get to see a lot of it. Every npc has traits you have some chance of changing like for example you can make someone love public nudity, revealing clothes, wearing no underwear, sleeping naked, hate conservative clothes and so on, but it's all scam. At first after convincing someone to have all nudity related traits at max level you will wonder why this has no impact on what she actually wears and think you must wait until all the public nudity laws are voted but then after playing long time you realize this also has no impact on what they wear in public, Basically you can have someone that based on their traits should be a hardcore nudist with laws allowing them being nude in public and you'll never actually see them even choosing topless as their outfit. And of course you have no way to talk someone into changing their outfit.

Well there is one way, but it is only for your employees, you can evaluate a worker (which btw make her like you less due to "micromanaging") and enforce a sexy outfit, which is basically a slighly more revealing dress, absolutely nothing like topless or nude, but it often leads to confontation leading to either firing her or her quitting (yes she will likely quit while loving all nudity related stuff) and in a rare case when she actually goes to change into something slightly more revealing she will instantly memoryhole the talk and go back to her previous outfit like nothing happened.

And lastly the RNG. This one here is riddiculous, the difference between having a good roll and a bad one is HUGE. For example you can start a game with a negative endurance and struggle for months having to spend most of your time in the gym to fix that and rest every other turn or just reload and start with 60 and ignore the gym for the rest of the game and sleep once per day. If you love savescumming or save editing this is a game for you, if not good luck. Also behaviour logic is hard to code, so the rng is there to avoid the work, leading to situations when a girl you just met can ignore your initial flirting and treat you like shit at the same gaining "love at first sight" trait for you. And the next second she asks you for a date. You know, rng.

A management game with a veneer of porn, but strangely compelling anyway. You definitely have to enjoy the management aspect to get anything out of this. There's a fixed set of character images, but names and personality traits are different on every playthrough, so each game is unique. The dev is quite active and responsive, and most bugs get addressed quickly.

Sex scenes are just text and nude images, and the text is frankly not that sexy. Yet somehow I keep coming back to this game.

Great idea for a game. The premise reminded me of Yakuza 0's Cabaret Clubs.

However, I couldn't get myself into playing this game simply because of the bad UI. It feels unintuitive and at times confusing. Color scheme that is used doesn't highlight important things. Instead it lumps every element of UI into one unintelligible pile.

This is an excellent game. It is in its earlier iterations, but it already is really well done and is fun to play.

This is in a fairly narrow genre of management games where the gameplay is still fairly interesting, but you also get some nice nudity and porn content. The author compares himself to LR2, which is a fair comparison. I'll expand a bit on that and say that the game isn't as complete nor balanced as LR2 quite yet, but it absolutely blows it out of the water on the models and the art.

    So the best qualities are:
High quality art (AI I think, but well done)
Great gameplay loop, even if still not fully tuned
    Many many hours of gameplay
No bugs that I caught, which is exceeding expectations for such an early iteration

The biggest negative is primarily in the fact that the game is still in the early iterations. This mostly surfaces in the content cutting off after a certain point. It also surfaces here in the early game being confusing. The game is just too hard atm for its completion. So I strongly recommend using cheat codes after a while. Instructions on how to use cheat codes are in-game in the FAQ.

    This is...surprisingly good.

    First and foremost, a warning:

The early game feels downright incomplete. You will start the game and wonder what the hell you are supposed to do and think the game seems barren.

Power through. Use the tutorial, follow it, and power through. The way the game currently works, there are initially minimal characters at the start, then the game inserts more characters as necessary, meaning the amount of things to do increases exponentially, with the beginning being the weakest display of what the game offers. Build the storage and kitchen immediately, and by the time the kitchen is done, the game should start developing a flow.

I would also warn to take advantage of increasing prices for drinks and food. It seems that if you leave these at the default, you WILL go into debt. Debt doesn't seem to be a huge problem, but I get the vibe you unlock more features by being out of it.

I rated this 4 stars because it's a very fun game with lots of management and self-set goals. If you're like me, your goals will be to seduce any hottie you meet in town, hook up with them, and get them to work as a stripper while also convincing the town to allow strippers.

The missing star is because of two things:

-This is admittedly one of those games where you need an imagination. It's still images and the same repeating text. The most involved it gets is persuading people to like things they previously did not, such as certain kinks.

-It's probably more fun as a game than as porn. It functions as porn too, but again, you need an imagination to fill in the blanks that the game leaves open.

Most of the gameplay revolves around expanding your club and ensuring the local politicians promote legislation that allows you to convert into a strip club.

The gameplay however does have neat little interactions. For example, if you want to seduce your sister, you have to convince her that incest is totes cool. If you are interested in someone who is married, you have to convince them that cheating is totes cool. And if you have a bartender who hates service work, you should probably work on convincing them it's actually a great job, otherwise it will impact their happiness at work.

Basically, the gameplay revolves around convincing people. This is how you get in people's pants, this is how you get better workers (aside from training), and this is how you convince people with jobs or relationships that they don't HAVE to commit to those jobs/relationships.

It's basically a fun little management experience where you focus on improving various aspects of your life and career. "Management" is probably the strongest tag here, and everything else will demand imagination to fill in the blanks.

For the author, I would encourage more of the hand-crafted scenarios, as these add more depth and narrative interest to the experience. Otherwise, keep up the good work.

It's a slow paced management game.

The goal is to meet new people, increase your relationship and their opinion of you, and eventually hire them for your club.

You begin in a prude city that only recently reallowed restaurants to sell alcohol, and your goal is to bring more sexual freedom by convincing the city council to pass new laws that will allow to transform your restaurant into a strip club.

All the while, you are in competition with 4 other clubs.

It's up to you snatch the most talented people for your club before them.

All the portraits are AI generated, but of very good quality. They are consistent when changing their clothes.

It's up to you to go out there and meet new people.

    Now, about the pace.
As I said above, the game is very slow paced.

it takes time to begin to make money, and you will be in debt for a very long time.

Don't rush hiring more workers than you actually need, and until you make a decent amount of money just manage your stock and increase your stats at the uni library to train your employees.

Relationships are mostly RNG, you talk to people, and you either have a positive or negative interaction.

Fortunately, it doesn't seem to have too much of a big impact if you have a negative relationship with someone, you can still hire them, or have them vote for the laws you want. But having a positive opinion is still the way to go.

Relationships can take a long time to build up (both for you and the NPCs)

The more you advance in the game, the more people will be created by the game, you will also encounter more events.

Finally, i'd like to insist on the fact that this is mainly a management game. Don't play it for the porn, there is none.

There a sex scenes, but they are text driven, and there is no variation in the text. There are no CG (it would be impossible to do so with current AI technology and the number of people the game generates)

I desperately want to like this game after trying to get into it a couple of times. It has all the things I like in a lewd management game - character creation system, management mechanics, corruption and romance mechanics, etc.

Unfortunately for now it's pretty shallow where it should be more complicated (management aspect for example - I really have no idea what happens and when in the club and how my decisions impact my results), and needlessly convoluted where it should be simple (40+ attributes for a character - even most complicated tabletops don't have that much I think... what the hell Honor is for? Courage? What's the difference between Health, Strength, Endurance and Energy? Why do we have 10 different sex skills?) Everything is seemingly explained in the tutorials and help, but during the game there is really no feedback related to any character attributes when you do stuff.

Sex stuff doesn't really have a purpose here - in other games it's either a mechanic or a reward for playing, here it's just there - no buildup, no effect on anything as far as I explored.

The UI is simplistic and hard to navigate - some things are contextual for specific menu, others for specific location. Ai art is pretty good for its purpose, could use some more outfits - I'm a sucker for slutty outfits.

I think the game needs an overhaul of management mechanic and character attributes. I'll revisit later...

Not sure why this game has such a high rating. So hard to get to anything sexy in this game. It takes forever just to set up your Strip club. How to play the game is very confusing and hard to understand what you are supposed to do in different situations. The UI is horrible.

The "Sexy" text is along the lines of :
"She takes her hands and fondles your sexual organs" -- The writing is horrible.
And because everything is written for generic girls everything feels generic and none of it feels intimate at all.
Lots of grinding and lots of management and almost no payout from what I have seen. I keep playing it hope there is some pay out but it keeps seeming there isn't much.

So, this is basically Venus's Club meets LabRats

Looks promising so far, had lots of fun checking it out. Even with not much content it feels like there's lots to do. And the ability to add custom models is absolutely awesome

    Looking forward to the updates

So much variety in terms of how to manage a club and also places to visit. But pretty damn poor and repetitive sex scenes. I enjoy the models, CG or not , there's a lot of options in terms of looks and body type. I love management type games coupled with corruption, reminds me of HHS, which was the first H game I played years ago.

The game feels a bit too grind-y though. Like 90 days to construct a room, wtf? I definitely think some things should be changed to make it less grind-y and more fun. Also the gym should definitely effect your overall endurance and boost up your stats.. it doesn't seem like it.

I feel like the game would also benefit from more unique events. I was surprised of the birthday wishes from the whole goddamn town, even if they were annoying to deal with, it was different and fun. Also MC's sister texting him out of nowhere, yeahh more stuff like that. Otherwise it gets pretty repetitive after a while. All the grind seems to be wasted after getting a certain girl undressed, because all the events are the same.

Not a bad game though, I see a lot of thought and effort put into it.

    KaltesHerz

    i like the game
yeah it's got some bugs but nothing game breaking on the version i played
also no crashes, hangs, AND NO VIRUS

the AI renders are actually pretty good there are a few that are wonky but 80% of them are really good and a few look real, especially like the ones that look like they're in shape

    Trolden

It's a game that has really great sandbox elements, for those who like simulations a lot. A bit grindy, but it feels more like a world that evolves naturally than most other games.
Plenty of characters to meet, and so much freedom to do whatever you like, when meeting them.
It's still missing something regarding sex scenes and stories, but the large framework for the sandbox, actually works nicely.

So if you are looking for a game that feels like a simulator with lewd stuff, this is a good game, if you want lots of scenes and tighter story telling it's not. Think of it as if you like Crusader Kings or not.

Totally unplayable. Do you want to infinitely grind what is essentially a bar management game with opaque mechanics? Go for it. Otherwise look elsewhere. Says it's inspired by Lab Rats 2. Only if you take out all of the entertaining elements of Lab Rats 2 and made everything else a total grindfest.

I really enjoy this game. It appeals to both my simulation and my management needs as well having some very well done AI art. I have already spent hours on this game and it just doesn't get stale. I highly recommend if are a fan of either simulation or club management games, or like me, like seeing realistic adult art. I look forward to further features from TotalFluke.

    Hamakabula

I want to love this game but I just cant. Somebody else said you get almost the same experience by scrolling through the picture folder and I kinda have to agree. The game dangles these hot bodies in front of your face but there's not much more too it. At least not much fun

    The good
    - The concept of randomised and interchangeable real porn bodies is genius and I'm baffled that this is the first game (to my knowledge) to do that. It makes for a huge variety of characters and most of the models are hot (with some older / overweight people and - to me, sadly - lots of dudes thrown into the mix for realism)

    The bad
    - The UI. It's as barebones as they get (MS Paint?) and has too many options where you don't need them and too few where you'd need more. It's unwieldly to navigate the club and the world, which is exacerbated by the fact that you usually have only a tiny amount of stamina to do things (see randomised stats)
    - The writing. There just isn't very much of it. You get an intro and its a sandbox from there with most texts being purely descriptive ("you talk about various topics")
    - Opaque club management. I only got to the bar stage before giving up (and i played hours) since all the options the game gives you is to hire barkeepers (which might not be very good) and buy different qualities of alcohol. Unlike in the game that inspired this there is no easy to understand input-output here and no way to help out yourself (other than with maintenance)
    - Randomised stats. You have to reroll a bunch (or cheat) to get decent stats on your main character. Some are plain impossible to change afaik, and the ones you can change take *ages* to do so. The same is true for your employees (of which there aren't very many options) so you might be stuck with terrible barkeepers and an anemic income
    - Opaque stat system. With most of them it is unclear what they do or if they actually do anything. Again, IF they do anything you better hope you got lucky on the RNG because they're hard as hell to change (on yourself or others). It's not like you can just reroll and check though since even just knowing the stats takes a lot of running around and probing people about it. Which brings us to..

    The ugly
The grind. Oh god the GRIND. This is where all the aforementioned problems meet and have an orgy to create the worst possible experience. So right now the core gameplay loop is stat padding to build relationships. Eventually (allegedly) to influence policy makers on the city council, but initially to make yourself half competent and to build relationships with other half competent people that might become your workers. Also for any kind of sexy time because there is no corruption mechanic other than talking to people. And it takes *ages*.

To give you an example, lets say you roll a random dude with not too great stats. Chances are most of the town finds you anywhere between unattractive and horrifying. To slightly increase their opinion of you or find out what they like you have to
    1) find them (you can invest 3-4 more clicks to text them first to find out where, but in any case just getting there will cost you stamina)
    2) Talk to them which gives you a bunch of nested menus (see UI) that at the end of the day all do the same thing; raise the relationship stat. With one outlier changing their opinions about various topics (which with the exception of sex stuff is again just an inroads to making them like you faster)
    3) Alternatively (you only have stamina for one of these) to make them find you not horrifying you have to change their likes/dislikes to whatever the RNG decided you look like (good luck finding that info on the UI)
    4) These steps will usually take up all of your stamina after which you have to sleep. Oh but you didnt raise any stats (going to the gym and raising strength by 1 (up from -100 if youre unlucky takes all of your stamina too). And maintenance is piling up. Also time is passing and most city locations are only accessible once a day.
So you have to spend a few ingame weeks repeating this just to get one character to maybe like you. The grand reward here being that you get to cycle through their picture files a bit

The supposed core gameplay (corrupting the city via election officials) totally passed me by because it took to long to set up the basics that they just voted on stuff without me. Most of it passed anyway, guess i got lucky on the random lewdness rolls or something. I wouldnt know since I couldnt be bothered to talk to a bunch of old dudes about their traits, stats, likes and dislikes for two weeks.

There is some potential here, mainly in the variety and thus replayability but i urge the dev to take a long look at the games that inspired this and what made the gameplay work. Less grind

The game is good but if it would have explicit porn images/videos(either generic or custom) for different actions(fingering, handjob, blowjob, deepthroat, cumshot, creampie) it would be one of the best porn games ever made.
  18. 2.00 star(s)

    DNS01W

    The idea is not bad.
The graphics of the ladies are good and there is plenty of variation so there should always be some that really does it for you.

That's where the good news stops.
The UI is clumsy and very rough around the edges.
The tuturiol gives lots of feedback on stuff that you could figure out yourself by playing the game but next to none to the direction you should take to build stuff up.

On top of that comes the writing which is just jarringly bad.
Not being a native speaker either you'll notice to my grammar is not the best and that I tend to make errors in punctuation but then I'm not writing the text for a game.

On top of it comes the fact that no matter what lady (or guy if you swing that way) the text loop is pretty much identical. Sure the things that they like or don't like differ but seeing that you don't have depictions of any sexual acts the writing has to do the heavy lifting to make it appealing.

So if at best a full frontal nude AI generated depiction of a person does it for you while reading a text that pretty much matter of fact states that you made her cum... you might enjoy this.

In the state that it is in at the moment (0.4g) I wouldn't bother. I played it for a few hours even with a restart of character to see if I missed something in the start... and there is a path forward for it but at the moment all I can advise is download the graphics packs and scroll true them if you are that desperate to have something to get aroused by because watching paint dry is more enticing than playing this game.

    Review of version 0.4d

Strip Club Wars (SCW) is a amazingly solid early release with mechanics and content that kept me entertained for a dozen or two hours and I still haven't stopped playing. It's one of the rather particular genre of management sims with only a few other entries of the same quality. I can't name them due to reviewing rules, but at least one is mentioned by the author as an inspiration and is a game I do love.

This genre is generally less about art assets and more about creating an interesting and erotic headspace. That said, SCW makes good use of AI CG and varied photomanulations of it to produce some nice eye candy to populate that headspace. Some are a little rough but most are quite good and the sheer devotion to racial, age and particularly body-type inclusivity is astonishing. Oh my beloved toned abs!

The underlying mechanics are what really matter most, however. It needs to be a fun game above all, and I feel SCW has already accomplished that. While I love forming my harem and having all the sexy times, I'm even more interested in crushing my competition. In. To. The. Dirt.

I will say that the author's leaving some of the code available for modding played a pretty significant part in my enthusiasm for this game. This is mostly because I could tweak gameplay to my own liking, something I adore. But it also gave me a glimpse into the quality of the developer's skills. I like it when I see good programming skills in our beloved smut games. It's pretty rare. And I see it here. It always bodes well.

I'm very much looking forward to future releases. Great job so far TotalFluke!

    Optimelle

    Sloppy start.

The UI seems like it was made with too much haste and not a lot of skill. It's easy to get lost in it.

The graphics are AI-generated but there are some cuts and edits here and there. The editing is even sloppier than the UI. To make it better the dev can use better checkpoints and a post scripts (I think there is at least one that creates transparent - no background - png files, just need to look into it. Some of the faces are outright ridiculous and can be easily sorted with adetailer or similar or just better prompts. All points towards either haste or not enough prep work/know-how.

    I like the mechanics.
I like the game generates the world every time you start a game, sometimes you get a brother, sometimes you get a sister and everything else is different: the locations are different (same map tho) the people are diferent and the competition is diferent.
    Pro: replayability,
Con: you have to restart the game until you get some decent stats as on some rolls my character was close to -100 on pretty much all skills.
The skills themselves are unclear on what they do and how you can raise or lower them
The interactions with various characters is pretty repetitive but I like that it doesn't do dialogues just narration. Still, very unclear on how they will react and your stats and brazenness can affect characters in different ways.

All in all, this is kind of a rough diamond. It will need a lot of work and polishing before it can shine.

Edit: If you don't like the art it's quite easy to change it once you get the hang of it. I did for my self and and happier so adding 1 star. Looking forward to mods.
