With the 15.1 version, no, you can't share save files. But if you play the Steam version of CK1 (which is free, btw), it's possible to transfer save files to the 3.0.16 version of CK2

Yeah, there are 2 separate games. CK2 is basically 'season 2', while CK1 is 'season 1'
