It's such a waste as the renders overall are good.

This is a game I looked into based on the hype but I was convinced I wasn't going to care for because it was an RPGM game. Man was I wrong. It ended up being one of my hands down favorite games of it's kind. It's been a year since I completed playing it and this review is long over-due so some of my takes could be slightly dated or inaccurate.

This is largely a horny harem-focused adventure game and quite far from anything I'd classify as a heavily story driven game, but the story itself is more interesting and entertaining than I'd have expected. Sure, there's a bit of a bs magical plot device in there to hold together why everyone is more horny and open than they'd normally be but at least it's integrated into the story (and overarcs with the previous and next games) which is more than most of the genre bothers with. Overall the writing of the story, the characters, and definitely the dialogue is a quite a well done mixture of practical, sexy, and humorous.

The characters are are pretty much all attractive and different enough not just in body type but in personality to make everyone seem quite unique. I really loved how despite it being a giant harem game they all maintained their individual personalities even when together which at times could be competitive or at odds with each other (I can still think of a certain light rivalry I absolutely loved). It made things quite entertaining or hot (or both) depending on the scenario. While there aren't any serious conflicts, there's at least an attempt at different levels of resistance and the game doesn't make it seem like all the girls are just magically okay with everything from the start or clueless about the whole scenario. The game did well at keeping the character dynamics in place throughout between all the characters so player can see how they all get along and progress with each other beyond just with the MC. This game also managed to get me to to completely change my perceptions of the characters as I played. One of the characters I really didn't find attractive at the start quickly turned into a character I was attracted to. One of the characters that I had the least interest in pursuing for a good portion of the game ended up being one I saw as one of the hottest by the end of the game. While I have a personal rank of which girls I liked the most for my own reasons, I found myself genuinely surprised that the game got me so interested in pretty much all of them. Even what I would consider one of the weakest characters (a sheltered character that seemed a lot more clueless than she should have been) served a big role in setting up a lot of the more entertaining dialogues and scenarios by virtue of her cluelessness. None of it felt like a big group of random characters with different size busts and hair colors. They all seemed like they were carefully written with purpose and personality to work well on their own as well as within the context of the group. Progression with the individual characters is also generally quite satisfying.

Animations, particularly in sex scenes, are overall the best I've seen in a completed AVN (I'd also highly recommend the video enhancements mod from Viggy unless you're playing at low resolution for the best experience). Attention to detail here was something I think is if anything still underappreciated by many despite all the praise. The only drawback for me was after playing this game it took a while to stop being unfairly disappointed by animations in other games by comparison.

Speaking of animations, the amount of content in this game is ridiculous. The number of completely different sex scenes alone almost seems like too much if it weren't for the fact that such a large number of them are just really hot scenarios that are woven into the story and character progression that I'd hate to have to pick and choose from the feast. The scenes themselves are well done and varied enough to have a lot of different favorites dependent on tastes/mood with dialogue and the connection to the characters to themselves really enhancing it further. The only issue I ran into personally was that with so many of these scenes I'd reach certain points in the game where I'd have several of these events with very little gameplay or story development going on between them and I'd be wishing there was if for nothing else than to space it out a bit for myself. Luckily there's always side-activities to spend time on as well.

To get into the aforementioned side-activities and the gameplay loop itself, more generally this is a sandbox game but a very relaxed one with really only variation to a point of what order you can do things in while overall having a pretty linear path. There's a character built into the game to serve as your guide if you ever aren't sure which to do next which is nice as well. There's no real stats to manage/maintain other than working on building your relationships and money and there's no time limits on things. You can go out exploring, treasure hunting, fishing, etc. for as long as you want and the game isn't going to penalize you for it if that's what you feel like doing. The gameplay loop mainly consists of story events that lead into adventure game style exploration and problem solving plus occasional side activities (if you're not doing them along the way) to make money to buy things you need in order to create items to progress further in some way. The only minor possible issue is some things can be extremely hard to spot/find - not as bad as old school adventure games, but usually worth consulting a walkthrough on if you run into trouble. Money shouldn't be much of an issue if you're not trying to buy too many optional items too early before you reach the various points at which cash just starts rolling in more easily. There are also some sexy optionally repeatable side events to do as well. The only side-activity I didn't care for much myself was the (again fairly optional) puzzle temple which can be tedious or frustrating without resorting to walkthrough solutions. Towards the end of the game it does put things in the shop to make the puzzles easier or get around certain things entirely if you're having trouble though. Regardless, it didn't feel like it added much to the game whereas the rest of the gameplay I found pretty enjoyable (people that really enjoy puzzles may find this more entertaining than I did). The puzzles within the story itself were a lot more reasonable. Anyway, I don't think anything is really missable in this game so the gameplay was never stressful for me and I enjoyed occasionally just walking around collecting treasures or going fishing just for the heck of it.

The music is good enough for the different moods without being intrusive and the sounds in the scenes are pretty decent.

I also want to mention that there's actually progress in the quality of the work that is visible as the game progresses. The look of the awesome cumshot/facial results, for example, got noticeably better as did some of the details of some character models themselves. When you start at a such a high level and manage to still increase quality during production it's very impressive (and great to see they care about improving). To me this bodes very well for the next game in the series and I'm very much looking forward to it (though it's going to be tough to live up to this one and I'll be still happy if it's it's even half as good).

If you're into harem games at all, this one is definitely worth a try even if you have reservations about any aspects of the gameplay loop or it being an RPGM engine game. I was highly skeptical myself and it ended up setting the new gold standard in my mind within this genre of AVNs.

One of the greatest lewd games ever. Animation quality is insanely good. Story is good enough (not amazing, but not boring either). Puzzles can get annoying, but there are plenty of walkthroughs for those. Art is very good, girls are very hot and there are loads of scenes. 9.5/10

Amazingly hot girls and an ambitious story do not rescue this game from RPGM tedium. So much needless clicking and grinding collecting stuff to sell and suddenly you need the sold stuff to craft something. So you go grinding again.

There is an absolute fuckload of sex scenes in the game, yet they are so vanilla it gets to be absolutely boring. The animations are good, yet they too get to be so similar since there is no emotion or eroticism in any of it.

The story could be great were it not chopped into a clickfest sandbox. The game is put together completely nonsensically. You do one thing, and then when that finishes you click on the hint system (because you have no idea where you should go in game) which leads you to a completely different place. Why are you here? What the hell are you doing? No idea 80% of the time. Rinse and repeat, add a twist, add a dark past. Stretch and rinse and repeat.

For me ToN was just too long, too vanilla, too formulaic and I got so bored around 80% completion.

Also fuck Patreon. The relations with two characters are completely nonsensical without the incest patch. The dev too should get bent, adding a repeating notification about how the game has been modified when the unmodded game makes no sense.

Every girl in this game is just as hot as the last, everyone a 10/10 its very impressive. The gameplay lacks at times but is fun explore and find treasure. I use mod for money as was bored but that just because scenes are so good I didn't want to wait for them. Love this game

Love this one, just be sure to play "Lust Epidemic" first. Then go to its follow up "The Genesis Order" after this one. They are all fantastic!
If you get stuck with the puzzles You Tube has some great walkthrough videos especially for the Temple.

The second edition of the NLT saga... Treasure of Nadia. If you've read my review on Lust Epidemic, you would know that prior to that game, I had never played any RPGMs. Yes, this is WAY better than its predecessor. There are tons of scenes, fun puzzles, and other minigames to participate in. After playing so many AVNs, I needed a break. This satisfied that urge.

well my rating is quite useless since everyone knows this is a quality game. lots of fappable scenes. renders are nice.

the story is surprisingly not bad. you have to run around sometimes a lot, it has lots of puzzles. i hate puzzle games. still liked this one.

I think this game is severely overrated. The quest progression feels random, many times you achive something or get some objet and the Soul stone first recommends you to go fuck someone, and once you finish it tells you to deliver the object to someone, it´s like the story itself knows its pointless to exist. I mean, MCs dream is being a treasure hunter, but fucking some bitch seems to be the priority here. Its cringe inducing really.

The graphics, meaning the aspect of the renders is good, but its just 2000 instances of the same, its like eating your favourite food day and night for a week, that is if you like how the game looks, cause in my hontest opinion Daz females already have most of the structure in common no matter the morphs and variations, thye are still "barbies" and the dev is not making much effor in diversifying so al the girls kind of look the same to me, besides the objective and inherent similarities. If you add the fact that all the scenes are animated the same way, the girls all do the same and react the same way to the same things, in this slowly animated way with that weird hand posing. From some version onwards it improves a little but only in the way the things happen, and camera angles, face expressions and such remain the same.
For me the game is just boring, I played it the first 2 times and reviewing it was not worth it, but this time I know I wont play it again, I stopped at 53%. At some point I realized that it was so boring that had lost all the "Fap value" and just played it for the RPG elements and the puzzles, until I got bored of this part also.

The RPG and puzzles is the only thing that is "saving" this game, because that part is entertaining, not like the fact that the MC who just fucks everyone on his path like a predator doesnt have the ability to take all the Kaley hints is throwing (Incest patch makes this fact more logical, but apparently is not canon).

I pretty much finished TLE almost twice, and couldnt finish this one, what else can I say? You should go and play it yourself but in my opinion everything, I mean pretty much every aspect of this game becomes repetittive too soon.

One of the best animated games out there, if not THE best.

However, two things do really bother me:

1. While there is an open world, the devs aren't going anywhere with it. You can't deceide which girls / stories to approach first and which not, you have to follow the linear story to unlock everything. Which can become quite boring if you follow questlines with women you're not interested in. Especially this asian masseuse that only does something for you in return for money is annoying, couldn't get more boring than that. Absolutely no affection or connection between her and your character, but you're basically forced to visit a prostitute again and again even if you don't enjoy this kind of sexual interaction.

2. The animations are only fade into pre-rendered cutscenes and fade out. This has the downside that sexscenes feel pretty disconnected from the game and sterile. Great moments like you helping a girl to get something while she accidentally pushes her ass against you or these little things that slowly build up tension and lead to a sex scene are not present.

It's more like "get your dick out I wanna suck it" and then you jump straight into the pre-rendered cutscene.

A must-play for lovers of puzzles, and it has a long runtime to keep you entertained.

The writing and characters (depth) is less appealing, they can get a bit caricature. It feels like it tries to be a comic at times, but the dialog doesn't quite have that oomph or pace to it that would qualify it as such.

The sex scenes do have pleasing graphics and fluid animations.

The mission tracker is a nice addition to help you find your way.


Suggested for those who like puzzles, or slick sex scenes in general.

AN ACTUAL GAME WITH DECENT GAMEPLAY ELEMENTS, WELL-WRITTEN STORY, AND FANTASTIC ADULT SCENES.

There are all sorts of adult games. Some focus on a single character, some side-scrollers, others play around with default Unreal assets to cobble together a "game"... but this is the first time I've encountered an adult game where the developer has taken care of all elements that make a good, even great, game.

GAMEPLAY
Treasure of Nadia is an old-school point-and-click adventure, with some contemporary twists. Crafting is a crucial element, and the gameplay loop comes in the form of digging for pendants and/or ingredients.

While there is some backtracking between areas, it's never to the point of where you get frustrated (warp points also come in later), and you'll never need to grind as the game is often generous and strategically paced to ensure you'll have most required items by the time you need it.

It's rare for adult games to actually have fully functioning gameplay list this, for the genre it's gunning for!

PRESENTATION (ART, MUSIC, STORY)
NLT-Media's outdone themselves this time around, with considerable upgrades to character models since Lust Epidemic. The island itself is believable, and the cinematics are well animated. The characters are well designed (save for the walking Asian stereotype that is Pricia, one of the few negatives in the game), and each of them given a distinct personality with their own voice, a rarity in adult games.

One aspect that surprised me is the care put into music - one element that is usually an afterthought. The music pairs well with the settings and story, and never outstays its welcome. Bravo to NLT for putting some effort into this aspect.

The story and dialogue, while built on cliches, is confident and well-written. There are some genuinely funny, meta scenes and the escalation of the plot is fantastic. What's even more impressive is the interaction between the cast, and how each of them is integrated into the larger overall story. No character is an after-thought and have clearly defined roles.

ADULT SCENES
But if you're not here for boring talk of gameplay, story and music, and want to know the most important aspect of the game - rest assured. Treasure of Nadia's H-scenes are equally as great. Of course, there are other games out there with even better animation, art direction and etc, but the absurd amount of content here is crazy.

What's crazier is each scene is also dictated by the characters and their personalities, which helps create an attachment for players that elevates these scenes. It's not just two generic groups of polygons clashing with each other, each of them have their own motivations for the acts and each scene is "earned".

FINAL THOUGHTS
Okay, so if we're playing adult games just to resolve our urges, why even bother going through at least 20 hours of gameplay to slowly unlock scenes that I can download from anyone on the internet? Well Jimmy, at times you'll want a cheeseburger, and it's hardly ever a miss, but there are times you'll want a burger with the lot - a memorable trip for the mouth, full of flavours and one that leaves you satisfied.

Treasure of Nadia is a full-course meal in a sea of French fries. It's a legitimately competent game with great writing, and one can't wait to play the developer's future games.

For now, I've finished the full-course meal that is ToN . Until the next one comes out, I'll have to make do with snacking on other French fries.

Story: 5/10 -Slow start, lots of mystrey, puzzles, heaps of content.
Erotic Role Play: 4/10 - Often hardcore, and too sort dirty talk turing scenes
Characters Build up 4/10 -easy to get predictable and not organic enough
Humor: 6:10 -Light harted humor here and there
Graphics.: 7/10 -High quality models uses. Wish they focused on renders more then animations thou.

Worst thing about the game is holding down right click skipping text and no way to scroll back. Mc is the biggest snitch, never can keep a secret. Game should be played with walkthrough for best experience.

It is the best RPGM game for me. I got 100% completion, and rewarded handsomely for it. One of few adult games I keep for scenes for an occasion to fap.

It will be the peak of NLT, because the sequels try to mimic and fail. All elements come together nicely, even cringy and quirky at times.

Treasure of Nadia is a bit of a mess, but I think it's a fun mess. For me, playing this is similar to watching a movie you know is kinda bad but you like it anyway.

The dialogue is kind of funky, the plot a bit out there, most of the characters don't have much depth to them, and a little added RPGM jank on top of it all. Despite that, I enjoyed playing through this. A bit weird for me too, since writing is usually the thing I value most.

One thing I'll definitely be in the minority for is that I liked that RPGM was used. I enjoy the sort of gamified elements it adds. Fishing, buying stuff for your home, puzzles, unlocking bonus stuff from the random chests. I can easily see why people would think it's all tedious, but I've played much worse. Rarely did I need to actually grind anything out, but I suppose I didn't try to buy every item in the game either.

Maybe not as impressive these days, but 3 years ago when this first started getting releases I was pretty impressed by the animations and renders. I think they hold up pretty well. Though a bit more diversity in body type would be nice, there's a large cast of love interests with plenty of scenes for all of them. The game is also long as hell, but that was a plus for me. I just used the in game walkthrough and enjoyed the ride for what it was.

NLT Media definitely have a certain unique feel with their games. Again I'd liken it to an enjoyable bad movie. Maybe not for everyone, but I had fun with it.
