I'm not saying she won't ever care, I'm saying that the issue won't be such a big deal and will not be that hard to overcome since there is already an other preexisting issue. Dealing with the boss thing will help deal with the brother thing. And knowing Max and Summer (and Flip) there will definitely be some form of teasing.
