VN - Ren'Py - Sassy Girl [v0.5.4] [Hematite]

I like this game. The girls are hot, the kinks are there, the story is weird and the choices are everywhere and change things. What more do you want? Also games where the mc can be a selfish ass are the best!

animation: really solid work, better then most of the games you'll see out there.
Storyline: A twist on some old favorites, the MC is a bit smarter then most other games which I like.
Scripting: This is probably the weakest section, the writing has some good moments but otherwise suffers from some stilted dialogue and common errors. If you're interested give me a script and I'll proofread it for you Because the bones are good it just needs to flow a bit more naturally.

The game is fun, lots of action and is pretty intense, more so then some other games in the options you have. I like that there is a points system but that you can still access all the girls without having to replay or anything as long as you choose correctly.

This game has gotten extremely weird. And that's on a sliding scale given the website we're on.

That porn games have dumb weird plots is something of a given, so the fact that the woman who owns the magazine the MC is working at turns out to secretly be his mother, okay, par for the course. Then she turns out not to really be his mother, strangely, still, par for the course. But at around the same time, the game turned into a series of unconnected sex vignettes for some reason.

The initial premise of working at the Sassy Girl magazine, while living in the owner's mansion, being paid by her husband to sleep with her, and finding out she's our mom (or not) is entirely gone. In the last few updates, we've barely gone to work at all, except to engage in a weird BDSM-dubcon-noncon scene in the basement. Instead, we just get weird sex scenarios executed oddly.

For example, one day we suddenly have to drive Karen (I think) to an interview. We hop in the car and suddenly we're in the mountains and a blizzard approaches. When did it become winter? Who knows. How far up did we drive exactly? Who knows. Where were we driving again? Who knows.

Forced to seek shelter in an abandoned cabin (of course), etc. etc. we fuck all night. We fall asleep. Suddenly, a sasquatch appears in the cabin, puts a blanket over us, has a few lines of dialogue, then bam, we're back home again. What happened to the interview? Who knows. How did we get back home? Who knows. Sasquatches?? Who knows, but they've also been referenced in other dialogue since, so I'm a little worried they're going to show up again later.

There's a whole plotline now where both the mother and the MC are losing their minds and - I cannot emphasize this enough - this is not the craziest part of the game. We chain up a coworker in the basement for BDSM sex using unrealistic, physics-defying toys and positions. The MC snuck into a hospital in disguise as "Doogie Howser" with a terrible 70s porn-stache and raped / coerced two nurses (the only two people in the whole hospital, I guess) into anal sex. The MC's therapist has a cat roleplay fetish she lives out with him, and her husband shows up and gets cucked all of a sudden? The MC fucks a dim streamer, who leaves the kitchen tap on, which floods the kitchen up to their ankles (not sure how, unless the kitchen is waterproof). And after each scene, we just move on to the next as though it never happened.

Final minor gripe: the choices you make during scenes are inconsistent as to their outcomes. Sometimes if you try to push the sex further, the scene ends earlier. Other times it's the opposite. No idea how a player is supposed to know what to do when the results of their choices are basically random.

The schizophrenia storyline by itself wouldn't ruin this game for me, but I have no belief the developer is going to take it somewhere good. I'm not even sure it's the same developer any more; the last few updates have seemed an entirely different game, a shoddy parody of the first few chapters.


Miriam's hot though and the girls are perverted, so if you can close your eyes and ignore the text, maybe you won't notice the trainwreck occurring around you.

I dont really understand why this game has such low ratings, its really well crafted. The models are gorgeous, the story is interesting, it has good pacing, it has just the right amount of choices to be made, honestly a solid 5 stars for this. way better than most things on this site...
Edit: also want to mention, INSANE amount of playtime for a 2GB game...

There are insane games like Shadows and stupid ones. This is stupid.

The story started interesting, but went down in quality with each update. The dev added a bunch of tags as bait and has confirmed with the latest update that they were never there to begin with.

I was already on the fence with some of the choices not mattering, and inconsistency in scenes regarding choices, but this last update turned this into a negative review overall.

The visuals are gorgeous, the sex scenes are great, the fetish to impregnate your girls gets fullfilled, and some kinky stuff is also served.

What bothers me is the story, or better the pacing of the story.
This game has a good setup, and greatstart ,but derails too fast into "gotta fuck them all". Additionally, the author's setting plots arounf mental illnesses. This is a very heavy topic, it is poorly executed. Not only do all the girls have some mental traumas or problems, also the MC suffers from a very heavy mental illness. As said, such topic is hard to execute. In this game it is also the case. Mental illnesses are portraied as surpressed emotions, and are cured with the proper answer (pick your choice).

i would like to gibe this game a higher rating ,but I can't because of it.
That aside, the visuals are great, the scenes are hot, some kinks served. The gameplay loop is standard (answer correctly); nothing new.

Pleasant surprises must be cherished, because they are so very rare. This game is exactly that! Rare gem in the ocean of boring mediocrity.
I don't even remember when I downloaded it. Yet by some chance I start playing it. I was wondering how long before any lewd content if any (what happens too often). All of a sudden I was submerged in pussy!

The story starts out really good, interresting premise, and a good first chapter. The writing did seem a little off at times, with some random bits thrown in from left field from time to time.
My biggest problem and the reason for the 1 star, is the sudden change in writing and pacing from the second and third chapters. The pacing seems to get hurried along, skipping some of the character development you would expect. Then all of a sudden we get a random plot twist, that really throws the whole story for a loop, executed rather poorly, in a way that seemed completely uninteresting to me.

I have to give credit where it is due, and this game at least has it's models, and animations in order. And it started out very well. Not entirely sure what caused the big shift however.
I'll revisit it again in the future to see if it gets better

it begins really good, nice renders and body tipes but it lose the north really fast, a promise becomes an amount of mistakes and rubish with really nice animations, one star because not is diferent to others

This game manages to create an unique upsetting atmosphere from the start. What strikes you first is the depersonalized MC and it kinda rolls from there. If you like Jordan Peele´s or even better Quenting Doupiuex´s movies this is a must play. I truly felt like watching Wrong Cops or Reality at times.

Also I have to mention one specific lewd scene - the one with the escort. The idea there is really genious (if you make the right choices) - upsetting for some (for me), and uniquely kinky for others.

My only criticism really is that the game kinda goes totally bonkers too rapidly (yes the "revelation" and the sister scene afterwards). The fall to madness should´ve been more gradual imo.

It won´t be easy to wrap this up, personally I hope the dev goes totally off rails in the end.

Probably 4* objectively, but I have to aplaud the bold direction and creativity. What this isn´t is your run of the mill AVN.

The game is unique in some way and has it's charm, it definitely stands out of other games here. I would call it "the theatre of madness and absurdity". And the level of craziness only hits up from update to update. I like it.
I can really only remember just a few games, that is written in similar surreal style.

Scenes. Some lewds here were very hot, and I am not talking only about the scene but also the context and how it was set up.
It's a rare thing for me to find lewd scene in these games hot, so that it should mean smth.

LIs. Mostly girls are attractive, they have well written personalities, some of them are not very nice, some are. I would say - the game has a LI for every taste.

In general - the game is not for everyone's liking for sure. Personally I can't remember any normal scene here, all scenes and the whole story are set up in an "unreal/impossible in reality" way .
In order to enjoy this narrative player needs at least temporary avoidance of critical thinking and logic. (sorry for my rough english)

All this brings to the only issue that bothers me here:
I'm worried about the possible endings, so far it looks like in the end we will get revelation that everything is just happening in MC's head, which would be a huge bummer for me. Honestly, you could just kill MC in the end and it would have the same effect for me, that would mean that all time that was spent on a game - was spent in vein.
Yeah, Developer said that depending on our choices everything will end in a best way possible, but it's a vague interpretation.
Anyways, it's the only reason why I still haven't bought his game unlike the previous one, wanna see where this goes eventually.

Apparently everyone in this game suffers from some form of mental health problem. The biggest issue with this is the fact that it's really portrayed with the tired of narrative of mental health problems = crazy. On top of that we get another unreliable MC because of the "schizo" path where he starts to question reality. Now this type of story might work for other mediums, personally I find it off putting, but this is an adult VN where it works even less. The sad part though is that the models are actually quite good just a waste of potential.

Maybe I am easy to please, but Sassy Girl has something. Something other games have not. Granted, the story is ludicrous and the situations unbelievable and completely unrealistic most of the time.

On the plus side, the art is great and it is technically well done.

BUT what really counts for me that the dev manages to create something unique, unlike all the bog standard games you find here. Moreso, the characters drive this game and if you can count on one hand the games on F95zone that don't have interchangable cardboard women, you are more lucky than I am. Here they are fun, unique and interesting.

Admittedly though, after the "revelation" at the end of CH2 it kind of goes off the rails and the dynamics between some of the characters get completely trippy. I am not sure what happened to the Dev at that point, but it isn't good.

We'll see where this goes.

At first this game had great potential for greatness... but the later chapters are random and without clrear message/idea behind them. Sex scenes are uselessly violent and without meaning. Its as if AI had wrote a script for porn by watching random porn flicks and sticking them together. Besides good quality renders this game has lost all meaning and promise it had at first. Too many random events. Random great ideas of Mc and his insanity as backdrop to put blame on just to explain why there are so many random events in this game.

Great VN, quite slept on.

Fantastic art, very hot, and the girls are all mostly likeable.

The sexual encounters are quite long and very creative, it's not just your standard fuckfest that is in a lot of these games.

When this game started I thought it was awesome. A mistery story, what will happen, nice renders, a top tier Li Milf. Now this game, for me, we all express our opinion here, it's the first game everyone should ignore.

From the forced scenes to the "I'm your mother but I'm sick story.." this game became a must ignore for people that want to keep their sanity intact. What a waste of top tier models and a story that could become something.

I wish there was a zero stars grade...

STORY 9.5/10 First Half 4/10 The Second Half The Story of this game started off strong for me and was up there with some of my favorite games. I not sure how much story is left about I guessing about mid way it takes an unexcepted twist that am not a fan of. It has me questing if I want to continue play it to its end.

Character Models 9/10 I really liked the looks and personality of the characters. A few of them lose points with me in the second half of the game making it hard to like them.

My biggest criticism of the game is the twist introduce in the mid part of the game it really off-putting in my opinion. It really disappointed me.

Overall I would give the first half 9.5 of 10 After the midway Twist I would give it a 4.5 of 10

It is rare to find a game where the rape tag actually means something for once. Also the renders are very good and pleasant to look at. Kudos to the dev. Storyline is okay and passable enough. Hopefully other girls get more content.
