from now on my Android ports of Ren'Py games have a 2nd, persistent save location like Windows. if you uninstall the app, the save files and persistent data remain intact.
therefore it needs the permission to access the public external storage (or a new one on Android 11+), because it has to read and write outside its own external storage directories.
you have to grant the permission or the app is shut down.

What do you want me to do? Nobody forced him to put something so identifiable with one of the most famous games as a promotional image... You can reuse things but not be so obvious. Obviousness is a lack of creativity and that's what I meant.

It's the same library that he used in his original game. BaDIK was released in 2019. SA was released in 2020. DIK wasn't as big and there weren't as many assets available back then and all the games from 2018-2021 appear to have multiple crossover assets. How many games have the same park with the same curved road going into a tunnel, for instance?

Also, the fact that it looks the same to you means BaDIK didn't do anything but use the generic library either. Why aren't you upset by that?

It's what was available at the time, and it's been established as the library Becca works at for over 4 years, why would he change it for the "what came before" story?

Jeez, calm down, dude. Every game use the same assets, there's not a lot of people making full scale libraries when there's already one that works perfectly. It'll be ok, just take a deep breath...
