VN - Ren'Py - Isekai Paradise [v0.1] [Soultice]

Review for v0.1

The game name and the opening lines talking about dying and waking up in a new world "just like manga or anime" told me more than enough about this. It's an admittedly pretty looking game filled with very generic writing and a cringe anime-inspired protagonist.

This opening chapter has not captured me in the slightest, mostly because it does absolutely NOTHING new. While I can also understand wanting to just lean into the typical power fantasy isekai thing, even then does it fall extremely short. To the point I started skipping dialogue because the protagonist was giving me a headache. You get offscreen killed by "truck-kun", wake up in this new tropey fantasy world, and immediately start casting a bunch of magic and leveling up because you're overpowered. The MC has nothing noteworthy to talk about. Picture a stereotypical anime MC and try to guess his lines, odds are you'll get pretty close. He's just annoying man.

Two of the girls practically fall for you immediately and throw themselves at you, we get some generic lines about a demon king, decide to form a party to take him down, blah blah. Literally nothing you haven's seen before if you've played (or watched) anything similar. Couldn't tell you much of anything else writing wise because there just isn't anything TO talk about.

One thing I will praise is the inclusion of extra animations for things like battles and such. I think it's always a nice touch when an AVN includes extra details like that.

Again yeah the renders, models, and animations are all good enough. But it feels empty when the writing, especially with the MC, is actually mind numbing. Hard to see myself ever enjoying this unless the writing astronomically improved. I'll leave this at three stars for now given it's so early, but should nothing improve I'd drop the score down a star and move on.

The little content it has took me a while to get through due to having to fucking reel back from cringe and recover, like is this satire? is the dev purposefully doing this to do some social commentary? I wish he'd stop, he's not good at it

I foolishly believed i'd see some trope subeversion or something, a new interpetation of the medium, fucking ANY sign of originality

Sadly i was disappointed

Though in 0.1v, if this is the quality that will be continued, im not quite hopeful of this game

for what they're worth, the models are fine, though i'd say the outfit choices could be better

The writing of the few scenes was also quite dull, and given it's a vn, there will be no gameplay section

Good Points
+ Even tho it's cliche, the Isekai series with MC leveling up, seeing his status screen, being kind of OP, etc, still fun to play. And that ''Damn it... I just killed a shitting Orc.'' thing was quite funny
+ MC's design looks kind of unique.
+ Art style is good, girls/woman looks hot/cute/sexy.
+ We have animations for some small stuff and things like magic attacks, their existence is cool, but they need improvements for sure, especially animation physics.


Bad Points
- How MC died just explained with a couple of sentences with a black screen, more detailed explanation with some images to show what happened like truck-kun hitting MC, etc, would look better and more professional.
- Writing is a bit weak it seems, the talks happening between people feel a bit rushed, and it is almost like a person who has written dialogues just wanted them to quickly end, a little bit more detailed dialogues could be a good improvement.
- Monster designs can use some improvements, they look a bit low quality and too cartoonish when you compare them with the more realistic art style of humans.
- Facial expressions can use some improvements, especially girls in sex scenes look a bit robotic, they don't have any animation for their eyes, face, and head it seems, so it looks like their body is moving, alive, but their head frozen in place, and that creates kind of robotic look.
- I'm not complaining, the sex scenes are good, and not gonna say slow-burn style is better, but the sex happens too fast and feels too rushed, maybe should happen after a little bit more dialogue? I can understand the mushroom sex scene since it was an accident, but Melfa's sex scene especially feels rushed.
- English is a bit rough, maybe better proofreading or a translator could be a good improvement.


For The End
Even tho there have been problems here and there since its first release I do believe they are normal, if the game improves with the problematic parts it could be a 4-5 star rate game easily, since it's the first release I will be giving 4 stars, instead of 3, and will edit my review later on.

It's great for me. It's been a while since I've had a game with such beautiful graphics and it's great to play on my phone. I really like this game, but I've only played it a little bit and I still like it.

Standard OP protag isekai story but the world is still interesting enough.
English is a bit rough but definitely understandable.

The four stars is really for the art. The scenes and animations are great and I can't wait to see more.

Isekai Paradise is a game worth playing, in my opinion. I really recommend. All the girls are definitely standouts. they are gorgeous.

Ahhh what could i say, i love the graphics and the story looks like manhwa type shit which is interesting, the girls is also cute. I would say again the graphics truly amazing, hope the journey continue.

0.1 Review.

It's an isekai alright. If that's what you are into then step right up. But let us not for a moment pretend the average isekai has a good story. The writing is only good in so far as it accurately recreates a low tier trash isekai. Which if that's intentional A+ for effort.

A major upside however is that atleast you get some porn to go with it. The characters look great. The sex scenes are equally good.

Honestly makes it kind of hard to rate since it's both terrible and fantastic. So erh..it's mid? Whenever the only positive a game has to offer is the porn it leaves me wondering why I wouldn't just go watch some actual porn instead. So yeah mid I guess.

the gameplay is very nice at the beginning of the game the characters are made beautifully the world is made well the plot is nice and reads well the game has a good start and has a chance to become a good game

Great start to the game! The ahegao and dialogues are great. Character design and pacing is done well. Hoping to see more characters and the story to develop into something great. Wishing the developers all the best!

The dev is on a whole other level. Graphics are great, storyline is fun, and very good pacing.

Hopefully a gallery feature would be created as the scenes are really just too good.

Nothing I have to say, it's unusual for me to give reviews to new games, but damn! This shit is out of this world, definitely dev's from another world.

How can this game so good?

Badass overpowered MC, perfect sound effects, amazing visual effects, high graphics, pretty girls, everything is perfect, just need a gallery menu (I honestly don't care).

Well I won't gonna say anything just try the game!!!!!!

good graphics
good story (though it is pretty generic isekai so far.. more to come though)
there are a number of spelling mistakes.. but nothing so bad that it takes you out of the story (we have seen a lot worse here on f95)
it has a lot of potential and tbh there are not enough games of this genre
