Anywas, i'd recommend Demon Sword Incubus. Decent enough 2D sidescroller with 3D graphics, fluid combat, and the protagonist is really pretty. It has it's fair share of jank and BS moments tho, but overall found it enjoyable. Still yet to beat it.
I also recommend Ukiyo Fantasy Fair, but beware, the worm enemies are ABSOLUTE ASS (unless the dev patched it recently).

The lackluster glacial development and recent combat changes that try fixing what wasn't broken are the main issue with that one, but yea the animations that are there are pretty fine. If you also look past the fact that half of the development goes into the ABDL stuff.

The list is specifically about games with ACTUAL gameplay. Happy Heart Panic is so threadbare in that department, the combat and movement is stilted and janky, not to mention how arduous the map is to navigate ... the actual porn is elite but thats not what he's rating here.
A game off the top of my head that does that sorta sidescroller hacknslash gameplay better is ErisDysnomia/Ayura Crisis.

Describing Guilty Hell 2 as "kinda shite" and not being interested in trying it further as it develops makes me not take this guy seriously. He'd rather jerk off to pixels n shit rather the single hottest girl in all of these games, and the gameplay has been expanding with every update. Guilty Hell 1 and 2 have a special feel that no other at all game has been able to replicate. Night of Revenge comes the closest, and Night of Revenge does have superior gameplay. But a lot's on the way for Guilty Hell 2. You might feel like the combos in the first game were kinda of simplistic, which is true, but fun part is you have different builds and playstyles you can try out

It could be that he simply doesn't know about Demon Sword Incubus yet, but i get you. I do hope the updates the list some day and includes it. DSI is one of the few H-games i actually want to give it another spin sometime, i really enjoyed it despite some jank.
Speaking of Guilty Hell, i really need to try those out. I agree that the OP has rather hot takes, but at the end of the day, all i care about is finding new games to play. Once again, i hope he eventually adds Demon and Ukiyo to the list because Demon is pretty good with a fantastically beautiful MC, and Ukiyo has a lot of potential, so it'd be nice for more people to find out about them.
PS: BTW, i forgot to mention that Ukiyo Fantasy Fair is from the same developer of Object Control. Never played it, but seems like it's a H-parody of SCP Containment Breach (a free horror game on Steam).

I think trolls are unhappy. Heavy humor and hostile expression are both things people do when they feel bad. I think it is good to be sincere since people who are unhappy are often cured through sincerity. Of course I practice responsible participation limits.

Checked the entire list to see if they had something, wanted to point it out to everyone because I think this game needs more attention, Idk how big its fanbase is anyway, but wanted to share a game called "Shrift". weird game name to start with, but the game is honestly an S-tier for me at least, it is a monster girl, dystopian, 2D, rpg, choice based game that combines demons and guns. I cannot put the link as this is my first comment/post, but if you go to a website called "hemdomblog" and search for it, you'll find it, check it out for yourself/yourselves! there is also a lot of lore and story along with a lot of scenes, so there is a lot to enjoy! (just a warning, make sure to download the english version, it comes with a translator to run first so you can actually understand the game. dont worry, it does a good job translating it from what ive read so far).

i looked through and considering your bias towards 2d platformers (which isnt bad, everyone has their tastes), im surprised i didnt at least see a mention of Hijiri in the Succubus Castle
It's a 2d metroidvania leaning more towards the Castlevania influence, but with Touhou characters
now a lot of the scenes requires either a grab or a game over (sort of) to see, but the scenes themselves are good, the gameplay is semi-solid, there's a plethora of costumes scattered about (almost all of which getting higher defense versions as you explore), you can teleport to any area you've visited (save for boss areas and the dungeon you're sent to if you lose all your health) which eliminates the need for heavy backtracking, and there are multiple different endings based on Hijiri's corruption at the end of the game
you even get to summon a motorcycle and ride it across the castle, thats pretty cool
